Bacchus Harsh
Cobra worship and rural electronic mysticism
Bacchus Harsh is the sonic aberration of Naarm-based multidisciplinary artist Christian Bishop. Drawing on three decades of music-making, the project collides cinematic and psychedelic language with ritual noise, ambient textures and doom-laden electronics. Live, compositions are stripped back and reconfigured through handmade instruments, contact microphones, effects and feedback.
