With the addition of Peter Farrar on alto sax\, there will be three saxophones. It will be really mad. You would be mad to miss it.\nPerforming on Gadigal\, Gweagal and Bidjigal land.\nGabriella Hill - tenor sax\nAidan Wong - tenor sax\nPeter Farrar - alto sax\nTONEBIRD\nTonebird is Romy Caen (harmonium\, electronics\, objects) and Melanie Herbert (violin\, objects). Their collaboration spans more than a decade\, performing as a duo and in the Splinter Orchestra.\nSeated on the floor while facing each other\, Tonebird creates intimate music that disperses and envelops the space around them. The recognisability of sounds blur\, setting in motion a sense of tonal drift that gathers momentum of something quite dreamy.\nTonebird’s debut album In a room by the river (2026) compiles intimate\, patient live concert recordings captured at Tempe Jets in 2022: https://splitrec.bandcamp.com/album/in-a-room-by-the-river Sunday 6th of September at Stadium Rockdale\n(5 Tramway Arcade Rockdale).\nDoors 6.30pm\, music 7\nTix: $15\n\n\nTickets: https://www.facebook.com/events/826547090482094/
