Composed by Babak and Nima\, the trio’s repertoire spans a diverse range of musical styles\, actively evading traditional genre classification. The defining characteristic of their work is its unique sonority\, heavily influenced by Eastern and Iranian musical traditions. The project serves as a cultural bridge\, aiming to introduce contemporary Persian musical elements to wider Australian audiences.\nNima Saeidi is a guitarist and composer with over three decades of experience fusing progressive and fusion music with Iranian influences. Known for his original tunings and singular compositional voice\, Nima co-writes the trio’s repertoire alongside pianist Babak Ghazanfari\, whose AMEB-trained classical and neoclassical background brings rich harmonic textures and improvisatory flair to every piece.\nAnchoring the group’s rhythmic pulse is Amir Makhzani\, a Daf and percussion player from Dela Ensemble whose credits include performances at the Illawarra …\n\nTickets: https://localedition.com.au/collections/live-music-nights/products/tajrish-trio-tajrish-3am-vibes
