Lauren White is a bassist, vocalist & composer bridging contemporary jazz with older jazz traditions, alongside songwriting, poetry and improvisation. Known for her grounded bass playing, expressive vocal style and deeply musical sensibility, this will be a preview of music from her upcoming debut album ‘Opened Ground’, due for release this year. The project brings together instrumental and vocal compositions inspired by landscapes, poetry and visual art, reflecting the wide range of musical worlds she inhabits.
Featuring award-winning collaborators Matt Thomson (piano), Hilary Geddes (guitar) & Alex Hirlian (drums), catch her before she heads off to study at the Berklee Global Jazz Institute in September.

Jordan Chung - piano
Jordan Chung is a Sydney-based pianist, composer and improviser. Active across the jazz scene, his music reflects a distinctive voice shaped by a diverse artistic background and a deep commitment to storytelling. Known for his work with ensemble ‘Zodiac’, his recent exploration of solo piano playing has uncovered a newfound perspective on long-form improvisation and navigating a performance without any pre-conceived structure.
