Phil Slater is recognised as one of Australia’s most important composer / improvisers. A master of the trumpet, and an innovative composer, Phil continues to create a unique and irreproachable body of work with the Phil Slater Quintet, The Band of Five Names, and others. This duo and trio configuration is a rare opportunity to hear Phil play purely improvised, in the company of two uniquely compatible and idiosyncratic partners.

This time, Clayton gets the solo. Phil and Laurence get the duo. And we all make a trio possible.
