An evening of improvised and exploratory music at Lazy Thinking.

NOF is a two piece project by Solomon Barbar (The Walk On By) and Anousheh St-Germain, working in the space where structure gives way to impulse. Some songs are written and predetermined, while others unfold in real time, with improvisation at the heart of the process. Their music favours repetition, tension, and space over conventional dynamics, creating immersive and unpredictable sound worlds.

Genevieve Von Black is an improviser on electric piano and synthesiser based on Gadigal-Wangal land/Sydney. Drawing from prog rock, jazz, heavy metal, classical music, historical research, and literature, her performances move freely between delicate atmospheres and expansive sonic landscapes.

Renetica (Reza Feza) presents a uniquely shonky electro loner cabaret: Yamaha gherkin poetry, skewed electronics, and songs hot off the ironing board.
