Curated by SCM pianist Dr Eun-Jung Byun, this program explores the rich soundscape of Korea through art songs and piano duets inspired by the Taegeuk and the four trigrams, symbols of Geon, Gon, Gam, and Ri, representing Heaven, Earth, Water, and Fire.

The program demonstrates how Korean composers have drawn on these symbols in classical music writing. It also includes works by Byeon Hun, celebrating the centenary year of his birth.
