ACROSS THE UNIVERSE - The Beatles music Reimagined

Across the Universe is an exploratory take on the music of The Beatles, reworked by four of Sydney’s most respected contemporary musicians: 

 Ben Daley (guitar)

Gary Daley (piano and accordion)

Nic Cecire (drums) and

Brendan Clark (bass).

The idea is simple—take a handful of well-known songs and treat them as open material. The band leans into groove, texture, and interplay, letting the music move where it wants to rather than locking into fixed arrangements. An exploration, leading to transformation! 

 There’s plenty of improvisation and familiar melodies surface, shift, and sometimes disappear altogether before finding their way back in.
