NOISENOISENOISE
A carthatic evening of noise, experimentation, and more noise performed by some of the newest artists from Eora’s ever growing experimental scene.
Featuring her debut solo performance, Florens Fitzpatrick’s works explore abuse, trauma, and the efforts to shed it from her own body, by pure frantic catharsis and losing the self by vomiting the soul.
Manticora is noise artist based on Dharawal land, whose music highlights the extensive possibilities of ear splitting sounds that no-input mixing offers. Her performances contain intersperse elements of field recordings and drum loops within a constant fight against feedback and the limitations of second-hand hardware. Join her and have fun in listening to the nerve pinching catharsis she creates where you can move your body to the minimally structured rhythms born from feedback and distortion.
And emerging from Eora’s underground experimental scene, scariestgirlintheworld delivers a gritty, harsh and meditative sonic palette. Her performances are introspective, visceral and immersive, exploring the full range and emotion of the frequency spectrum through feedback. Within the unbounded parameters of dissonance and disarray, scariestgirlintheworld dissects and reconfigures the unconventional; formulating limitless worlds within hums and harshness.
