Messiaen Visions De L'amen
The highlight of this concert is Olivier Messiaen’s apocalyptic 1943 masterpiece Visions de l’Amen, here given a rare public performance by duo pianists Clemens Leske and Daniel Herscovitch, in a program which also includes three extraordinary shorter works by Purcell, Bach and Mozart .
