Long before and long after our time on Earth, nature follows its never-ending course. The plants never stop growing, the seasons never stop changing, and the universe and its planets are forever in motion. Nature operates on a scale of time so large and simultaneously so small, we can’t fathom it.

From traditional Icelandic folksong to new improvised pieces, Ronan Apcar and Sola Hughes curate a contemporary program of violin and piano works that illuminates the invisible language of nature and its immeasurable time.
