Música do Círculo – Improvisation Workshops

A unique series of workshops happening in Sydney this May.

We’re bringing Música do Círculo (MDC) to Australia for the first time—a globally recognised movement from Brazil that merges voice, rhythm, body percussion, and improvisation as a tool for connection and collective creativity.

Led by co-founder Zuza Gonçalves (also a faculty teacher at Bobby McFerrin’s CircleSongs), MDC is rooted in nonviolent communication and embraces music as a social technology.

There are two types of workshops:

Immersive full-day sessions for facilitators, artists, and educators

Open half-day sessions accessible to all voices and experience levels
