Bach and a Bit More
Melbourne based flautist and composer Johanna Selleck teams up with one of Sydney’s keyboard legends Sumiko Yamamura in a JS Bach Flute Sonata to coincide with his 340th birthday and they will also premiere four new Australian works that all include a ‘hint’ of Bach. Thrilled that Richard Rourke and Sumiko will also perform two new Australian works and the Sonata by Leonard Bernstein, a work that is quite romantic at times and also channels jazz idioms.
