๐๐ก๐ข๐๐๐ฎ๐ ๐๐๐ฌ๐ฌ๐๐ฅ๐ฅ’๐ฌ ‘๐๐ซ๐ค๐๐ง๐ ๐๐ฅ’: Thibaud Kessell is a pianist and composer with an eclectic interest in art-making. His album Badlands (2020) was a culmination of his experience being immersed in Sydneyโs exceptional creative community.
Arkangel strips back his usual 9 piece array of strings + jazz sextet down to a quartet. The band features Thomas Avgenicos (trumpet), Jacques Emery (Bass) and Tully Ryan (Drums).
Thibaud Kessell has participated as a shortfilm composer in Parallanes 2020, St Kilda film festival, for Tropfest Finalist Juune Lee and has collaborated with Archibald Finalist Amber Boardman. He has produced/mixed/mastered for artists such as Sagrada Familiar, Jacques Emery, Neurotic Bandit, Delay45. His projects include Stieble Eltron, Mlekรถ, Steven Oildrum, Limbless and FOLK.
