Peggy Mini-Festival

Matthias Schack-Arnott writes: The year is almost at an end and so is my time at Peggy’s. To celebrate the residency and the beautiful community that it exists within, we’re presenting a mini-festival of concerts across two evenings. It’s very exciting to have the opportunity to hear all of these amazing musicians under one roof. 

Dates: Saturday 7th & Sunday 8th of December

Time: 6.30pm for a 7pm start

Saturday:

Sumn Conduit (Sonya Holowell: voice & Ben Carey: modular synthesis)

Solly Frank: clarinet etc (solo)

Clayton Thomas: bass, Niki Johnson: percussion & Lauren Tsamouras: piano (trio)

Sunday:

Monica Brooks: piano (solo)

Peter Farrar: alto saxophone etc (solo)

Ben Ward: bass, Freya Schack-Arnott: cello & Matthias Schack-Arnott: percussion (trio)

Some vegetarian food and wine will be provided. The event is free but generous donations are encouraged to support the artists for their amazing work. ($15-30 suggested, cash only).

Please RSVP by 4 December, specifying whether you’ll be coming to both or just one of the two nights.
