Eugene Chadbourne - Red Rattler
w/ Uma Volkmer – Trumpet, Jim Denley – Alto sax, Alex Tucker – drums.
This is their first trio performance, although they have been playing together in the Splinter Orchestra for a few months. Alex tunes drums low, blows and bows cymbals. Jim avoids tuning his sax and hits it. Uma attunes, stretching her vocally trumpeting like a rubber band that can spring back in a nanosecond. Probably you’d say they ain’t too sure what they’re doing together, and they kinda hope it stays that way
