Jetsets April 25th: Melanie Eden + Believe

This week we’ve got some truly astonishing musicians sharing their powerful creativity with you. Melanie Eden’s voice will knock your socks off, and Believe are a veritable force of nature combining four of the most unique and expressive musicians around. Not to be missed!

Melanie Eden infuses stories with sounds courageous and sincere. Eden’s performances inevitably transcend the everyday with a heady blend of spirit- which dances along a high-wire of madness, beauty, for as long as Eden allows the magic to exist. Eden’s performances are given a power made available by an astounding voice, aided and abetted by an accordion, movement and acting skills.

BELIEVE

After years exploring the outer reaches of experimental music, electro-acoustic constructs and broad-lensed improvisation, four of Sydney’s jazz lovers return to a classic format with fresh ears.

A quartet of substantial depth and experience, this new group is on the search for acoustic and spiritual resonance in a digital age. A collective act of faith in narrative process and the possibility of otherness in our world.

Formed only two months ago, this will be BELIEVE’s fifth public performance, fuelled by a shared joy of the possibilities to come.
