The New Music Ensemble presents an adventurous program of music by composers whose voices were cut short before their time. Mind-bending psychedelic music from Italian composer Fausto Romitelli, mesmerising rhythms from African-American Minimalist Julius Eastman, synesthetic colours from our own Ursula Caporali and spacious improvisatory sounds inspired by Cornelis Fuhler. Lost Voices is a fresh and diverse collection of music packed full of possibilities of what music could be.
