After a momentary pause, Nights at Tempe is back. Presenting exploratory / improvised music, with gratitude and respect, on Gadigal Land.

Featuring:

SPLINTER ORCHESTRA One of the Tempe Jets resident bands, Splinter have been meeting to play in and around this space almost every Sunday for about 7 years.

NICK ASHWOOD AND LAURA ALTMAN A harmonious melange of clarinet, acoustic guitar and feedback with occasional clonks and squeaks.

Both Splinter and Nick & Laura have released albums on label Caterpillar - a digital sublabel of Splitrec - in the past year; this event is a casual celebration/launch of these releases + a chance to share some real-time music making with willing ears.
