Taikoz & SICKO: INTERMODE

Taikoz is back in our first mainstage performances for over 12 months! And what a way to celebrate: INTERMODE is a genre-melding project that invites both ensembles into unknown terrain, a meeting place to create shared sounds, motion and form. It will take you on a journey full of sonic colour and resonance – at once surprising and exciting. INTERMODE is Taikoz and SICKO as you have never seen – or heard – them before!

Program includes Ian Cleworth’s ‘Home’ - a major work for large ensemble, which in this context will be orchestrated by SICKO in real-time, and a brand new work for Taikoz alone by Ian called “5 for 3”, which is basically constructed using a multitude of permutations of patterns of five - & four - played by the Taikoz trio… 5 for 3 (get it?!)
