1st set: Whirlpool
Kraig Grady - vibraphone Chris Abrahams - pump organ
Whirlpool is a duo of Kraig Grady and Chris Abrahams. They use two instruments of Grady’s, pump organ and vibraphone, to play in the just intonation scale of Centaur which incorporates purely tuned intervals up to the 7th harmonic. Their performances are a mixture of improvisation and indeterminate scores and while they play frequently, it is more often in their private quarters. This will be a rare opportunity to catch them live.
