Sydney Improvisers Composers Kollektiv Orchestra - an 10 piece improvising ensemble featuring some of Sydney’s finest composers, performers and improvisers - focused on improvisatory conducting techniques, based on work by various systems created by Karlheinz Stockhausen, Butch Morris, Frank Zappa, John Zorn and Walter Thompson.

Followed by Free For All - an open free jazz jam where duos, trios, and quartets are chosen from the audience (if they wish to participate). Play a song you’ve never heard with somebody you’ve never met. From 8pm to 10-ish, $20 cash at the door ($10 concession).  BYO anything you want to eat or drink.
