“unlike any other record you’ll hear this year” PopMatters
Fresh from a triumphant Australian tour to celebrate the release of their recent album ‘New Bodies’, Tangents brings their unique group sound to the Cobra Club stage once again for a set of stunning new music and some fan faves from their last two albums.
Rarely does a group blend electronic styled rhythms, indie rock riffs, jazz influenced improvisation and a post-punk attitude with the ease they do and chances are you’ll probably not get a chance to see a band like them again this year!
Support comes from Rebel Scum , an exploratory duo featuring Bonnie Stewart (Bonniesongs) on drums and guitarist Rhys Mottley that navigates the world between improvisation, noise rock and free jazz.
