SET TWO ‘Narrative Generator (for Living Machine)’
For instruments, electronics, and narrator, this rule-based improvisation has the musicians and the narrator working together to perform an improvised narrative and soundtrack. Created with reference to the theories and practices of film and video games, the rules ensure that the soundtrack and narrative always match, pushing and pulling each other in different directions. Despite employing boundary-pushing improvisational techniques, this performance will be enjoyable for anyone who enjoys a good story.
