For all the avant-gardists: the fifth experimental sound and drawing night, Sonic Moves V is on November 29th from 6-10pm at Kave Bar, Newport. $10 entry towards performing artisits.

Subespai Subespai is the solo project of Mauri Edo, a Sydney musician originally born in Barcelona. Walking the line between ambient, noise and drone music, Subespai paints intense experimental soundscapes, ranging from peaceful to dark and troubled. The resulting pieces work as soundtracks for contemplative film scenes yet to be written, blending in with the environment, challenging the listener to embark on a journey of introspection and feeling.
The Psthurism Trio The Psthurism Trio is a collective saxophone ensemble that began in 2012 through the mutual approach to their respective instruments + a love of free improvisation and experimental music in all their forms. Psithurism play the range of musics from minimalist (or lower case) free improvisation to maximalist free jazz blow outs at times. We tend towards thinking of music that is intersubjective; and organic, music evolving between the players as if at any stage it would have a life of its ow

Josh Paton Currently based in the Blue Mountains, Josh Paton uses a fusion of found and created source material, to shape layers of processed sound. Their technical naivety is employed as a means to navigate software and abuse it’s limitless expanse.
Live Drawer: Madi Luschwitz Madi Lushwtz is a National Art School graduate, based in Sydney who creates glorified subjects whose boundaries of reality and imagination become intertwined via paint, thread and collage.
